I know you're probably tired of reading comments like this all the time, but it's true for me. Admittedly, I'm kind of slanted towards this one, since this is one of my early childhood moviegoing memories, since my mom took my brothers and I to a really big theater in New Jersey to see it. This film explores the central characters deeper without sacrificing thrills and excitement, and while it's a more obvious set-up for the next movie than the first one was, it's still got a good climax scene that allows you to take away something good. Ford and Fisher are able to create something together too, and Mark Hamill comes off better than in either the first or third ones. In the book I read on the STAR WARS movies, it said Lucas liked this least of all, but I think he's wrong.

Star wars: episode v - the empire strikes back 1980 watch online free english. The Empire Strikes Back is in my opinion the best Star Wars movie. Its balanced combination of action,adventure,character development and plot is what i ask from a movie,especially when it is a space-opera movie. Darth Vader is much more interesting here as a villain than ' A New Hope' where he was a villain just for the plot. The action sequences are much better and frequent,the places are more interesting and beautiful,like the ' city in the clouds. The famous plot-twist is quite shocking i must say, but for me it was spoiled, as i started the saga with the prequels(and it was wrong. Even though it was a good plot twist, i think the ' i am your father' scene is not well-done because it is a bit unnatural and the dialogue is a bit cheesy. But overall, The Empire Strikes Back is one the best fantasy movies i've ever seen and it was very enjoyable for me to watch. Furthermore, i believe it is one of the best sequels of all time.
